Ratings: Broadcast Finals for November 8, 2012

THE BIG BANG THEORY posts one of its all-time best numbers with 16.68 million viewers on Thursday night. That lead to a CBS victory on the night with an average of 13.715 million viewers and a A18-49 rating of 3.2. CBS was the only network on the night to have multiple programs over both a 2.0 demo rating and a 3.0 demo rating.

The remaining four networks each had a silver lining for their night. ABC's GREY'S ANATOMY won the 9:00 p.m. hour in Adults 18-49, with a 3.3 rating. NBC, with a special night of THE VOICE (3.0), more than doubled the ratings during the 8:00 p.m. hour and came in second in both measured categories.

Over on FOX, GLEE actually built upon the demo from the X-FACTOR lead in, even if it is just 4%. THE CW placed 4th in the demo ratings at 8:00 p.m. as THE VAMPIRE DIARIES (1.5 rating) bested ABC's LAST RESORT (1.4 rating).
