Complete Nielsen Ratings: Week of 11/12/12
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #100:
CBS powers its way to the top of both charts with a weekly viewer average of 10.65 million viewers and an Adult 18-49 rating of 2.5 (tied with NBC).
CBS placed 8 of the top 10 most watched programs, including a 55 minute overrun of NFL Football on Sunday evening. The NFL coverage drew 23.65 million viewers and a whopping 8.0 rating in Adults 18-49. Also, THE BIG BANG THEORY was the most watched program that was not an NFL game, finishing #3 over all. It drew more viewers than the reigning #1 scripted program, NCIS.
In addition to the eight top 10 programs, CBS had 18 programs in the top 30. Twelve programs drew 10 million viewers or more. All but one program, outside of Saturday night, ranked lower than #36, and that was the now cancelled PARTNERS (#52).
NBC finished third in total viewers with just over 7 million viewers, but on the strength of its two powerhouse franchises, SNF and THE VOICE, it still tied CBS with a 2.5 A18-49 rating. Again, outside of Football and THE VOICE, NBC highest ranking program was REVOLUTION at #39. But all the news was not bad for NBC. For the first time in 9 years, NBC won the November sweeps. Come winter time, we should see NBC fall back to its usual #4 ranking as football ends and THE VOICE is off until March 2013.
ABC pulled in decent numbers, but ultimately is only battling FOX for the #3 spot each week. Finishing this week at #2 in viewers, ABC was third in the demo ratings with a 2.2 rating. The network did place 11 programs in the top 30, lead by DWTS (#9) and MODERN FAMILY (#12).
FOX 's final full week in the November sweeps may have been its worst. It drew just 4.5 million viewers and a dismal 1.7 demo rating. The network was almost over taken by UNIVISION for the #4 spot which posted a 1.6 demo rating. FOX only placed two programs in the top 40 chart, both editions of THE X-FACTOR at #31 and #35.
