TV Ad Rate History: FAMILY GUY
It is not often we get to see a series that is cancelled after three seasons, then comback, after three more seasons, and dominate in certain demographic ratings. FAMILY GUY is that rare exception and does not look to end its 2nd chance run, anytime soon.
Like most programs FAMILY GUY did take a hit from the poor economy in 2008-09, but has bounced right back. The ad rates have risen in every year except that '09 season. It is up a whopping 70% in ad rates since the 2006-07 season. If this trend does continue, it may only be a couple of seasons before FAMILY GUY breaks the $300k barrier.
