It is a rare happening, but there were actually TWO programs that generated a demo rating of 2.0. ABC's SHARK TANK (with 7.08 million viewers) and FOX's coverage of the NLCS Game #5 (7.11 million viewers). This was the highest rated block for both networks this young season. For FOX, it was sustained over two hours, but ABC quickly lost steam once 9:00 p.m. rolled around.

THE CW finally premiered its last season premiere of the fall with NIKITA. The action drama completely disappointed. less than 1 million viewers and a 0.3 in the A18-49 ratings. They could get that with a fall edition of OH SIT, but not have the production costs of a scripted series. But, it is not completely the program's inability to generate viewers. The CW has a horrible match up on Friday nights with the two series. They would be smart to have NIKITA pair back up with a more male centric series, on any night. The young girls that watch ANTM are not likely to stick around for NIKITA.
