Complete Nielsen Ratings: Week of 10/01/12

The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #95:
NCIS
CBS Powers to a win in total viewers, while NBC continues to be #1 in the A18-49 ratings.

CBS took 15 of the top 25 spots on the viewers chart, including the top two most watched programs, NFL Overrun and NCIS. CBS averages almost 3 million more viewers than the #2 network. But is does lag behind NBC when it comes to the all-important demo ratings. But, do not be deceived by the demo wins NBC has been accumulating. It is all on the backs of The NFL and THE VOICE.

Between Football coverage on Sunday night and two nights of THE VOICE, NBC easily wins the weekly demo race. But out side of the two heavy hitters, NBC struggles just the same as the other networks. Only one other NBC series resides in the top 35 A18-49 rated programs (REVOLUTION). REVOLUTION is also the only other program that is currently pulling a demo rating over a 3.0. NBC only has two other series that can manage a rating over a 2.0. Simply put, NBC is very top heavy.

CBS, which does not have that "Home Run Hitter" in the demo ratings, it has a schedule full of "team Players." NINE series generated 3.0+ rating in Adults 18-49, for CBS. As the season progresses, it may not be long before CBS catches up to NBC. Then, once the NFL is over, NBC will be back to a 4th place network.
