Ratings Review: 2012 US OLYMPIC TRIALS

Over the course of ten nights, NBC aired the US OLYMPIC TRIALS in prime time. Some days it was just for one hour, other nights it took up all three hours. Based on the success of that coverage, NBC should be ready for above average numbers for the 2012 OLYMPIC GAMES, later this month.

The hourly average for the US OLYMPIC TRIALS was 6.85 million viewers and a 1.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

As you can see, the momentum built as the week progressed. That is not surprising as most of the finals were scheduled for June 30th and July 1st.
