Ratings: Broadcast Finals for May 14, 2012
HIGHLIGHTS:- AMERICA'S GOT TALENT showed that a hit summer series can play with the regular season hits. The season opener of the summer series was a close 2nd in the demo (3.7 rating) over its two hour slot.
- TWO AND A HALF MEN posted its best numbers in weeks. #1 in demo (3.9 rating) and #3 in viewers (11.6 million).
- MIKE and MOLLY actually grew 2% in viewers from TWO AND A HALF MEN. People may finally be noticing the underrated comedy.
LOW LIGHTS:
- Although it stayed even in the 18-49 demo ratings (2.6), THE BACHELORETTE lost nearly 50% in viewers from DWTS.
- SMASH did lose over 50% in the demo ratings from its new AGT lead in. Hopefully some retooling will happen while before its mid-season premiere, next season.
