Ratings: Broadcast Finals for March 15, 2012

There is a new column to the Daily Chart, the percentage of total viewers gained or loss from the lead-in program. Now you can see exactly how good, or bad, a program does with its lead in audience.

Highlights:
  • MISSING getting a very good sampling at 8:00pm. 10.6 million and a 2.1 demo rating. The best numbers in the time slot, for ABC, in over a year.
  • AWAKE for posting a 46% gain in viewers from the dreadful lead in of UP ALL NIGHT.
  • COMMUNITY posting "decent" numbers, for an NBC comedy.
Low-Lights:
  • NCAA Basketball, on CBS, is different now than in years past, and it is a very concentrated male demo, bit just over 4 million viewers is not something to brag about.
  • THE SECRET CIRCLE for having the largest drop of the night, from a lead in. Nearly a 39% drop from VAMPIRE DIARIES.
