CBS Dominates in Premiere Week Ratings
To say that CBS had an excellent premiere week in the ratings game, is an understatement. I had an almost flawless schedule, which produced 10 of the top 15 programs for the week.
CBS was tops all the categories. Viewers (12.5 million), 18-49 Demo (3.3/10) and households (7.7/13). ABC was a clear 2nd in viewers, but tied NBC in the demo rating with a 2.8/8. NBC drew 8.15 million viewers to take 3rd place in the category. FOX, brought up 4th in all categories with a disappointing 6.51 million viewers and a 2.6/7 rating in the demo. The CW, as usual, was 5th in all categories.
Top Series premiere of the week goes to Hawaii Five-O
(#11) with 14.2 million viewers. In fact, five were the only five new series to make the chart.
In the 18-49 demo, $#*! My Days Says placed #1 among new series with a 4.0 rating. Only two other CBS series (Mike & Molly, Hawaii Five-O) and NBC's Outsourced made the top 25.
