Complete Broadcast Ratings for Week Ending January 31, 2010

CBS takes the top spot for the week behind the power of the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, which delivered its best ratings in six years.

The music love fest drew a very impressive 25.9 million viewers and 9.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic. The 3 hour telecast even out performed weekly TV giant American Idol in both categories.

Another impressive showing this past week was FOX's BONES. The underrated series drew 12.3 million viewers and a 3.6 demo rating. Those ratings even helped struggling FRINGE, which followed BONES the following hour.

Going into Super Bowl telecast on CBS, FOX currently has the top spot in the 18-49 demo with a 3.6 rating, 0.5 ahead of CBS. How much ground can CBS make up with the biggest TV Event of the year and much room can they buffer a head of NBC's 2.6 rating as that network is just a couple of weeks from the Winter Olympics?
