Top 15 Cable Sports Events: January 21 - 22, 2017

It was a rather eclectic, yet low rated weekend in cable sports. The South Carolina vs Kentucky college basketball game was the top draw, with just 1.6 million viewers. The MMA match on Spike was the top demo draw, with just a 0.6 rating for the Saturday night event.

There was also Australian Open Tennis, which took two spots on the chart. The Saturday evening matches brought in 540,000 viewers for ESPN2.

Not surprising that only two Sunday sports event made the chart, with the NFL conference Championship games dominating the sports landscape and the viewers. Both Sunday cable game were played in the morning, before the first NFL game kicked off.
