Weekly CW Ratings: January 16 - 20, 2017

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES returned to the CW line up, with new episodes, but old ratings. The veteran series only collected 860,000 viewers on Friday night, about as many as SUPERNATURAL drew on Thursday night, with a repeat episode.

The network's top program of the week was the Howie Mandel special. That two hour event drew 1.4 million viewers. But, the demo were luke-warm, posting number comparable to the superhero encores.

For the week, The CW averaged 920,000 viewers, a 0.2 rating in Adults 18-34, a 0.3 rating in Adults 18-49 and a 0.4 rating in Adults 25-54.
