Preliminary Ratings: Tuesday 01/24/2017

NBC tops the demographic ratings, thanks to another solid three hours of programming, led by the hot freshman drama, THIS IS US. The 9 PM show collected 9.5 million viewers, along with a solid 1.9 rating in Adults 18-34 and a 2.8 rating in Adults 18-49. Viewership is flat from last week, but the two younger demos are up two-tenths of a point. THE WALL places a solid second place in the 8 PM hour, down slightly from last week. At 10 PM, CHICAGO FIRE is #1 in all three reported demographic ratings, up a tenth of a point in all three categories.

CBS was the most watched network of the night, hauling in an average of 12.1 million viewers. NCIS was the most watched show of the evening and was #2 on the night in the demo ratings. BULL was the second most watched show and placed a solid second behind THIS IS US.

FOX edged out a third place showing, ahead of The CW, NEW GIRL and THE MICK were down in the demos, from last week's episodes, while BONES was up in viewers and the younger demos.

The CW gave us the winter premieres of THE FLASH and LEGENDS OF TOMORROW. Both action series are down from their fall finales, back in early December. THE FLASH is off by 400,000 viewers and 25% in the A18-49 demo. LEGENDS, on its new night, is down 200k in viewers and off by a tenth in the A18-34 demo.

ABC was all repeat from 8 to 10 PM, and a new episode of AGENTS OF SHIELD was the lowest rated program of the night, including The CW.
