With an all-original week and the primetime AFC Championship game, CBS dominated the weekly ratings chart, taking 15 of the first 16 spots. The lone non-CBS program in that mix is THIS IS US, from NBC.
CBS placed all of its schedule, excluding Saturday shows, inside the top 40. And, of those shows, only two didn't make it in the top 30. That computes to a total of 20 CBS programs in the top 30. The AFC game (#1) drew 48 million viewers, and the series premiere of HUNTED (#6) held onto 11.9 million viewers, after the Post-game shows. It was a strong week for CBS, which did it with sports AND regular programming.
Without any NFL games, wee see how common NBC's line up is. It struggled to beat ABC for the week and still was third in the A18-49 demographic. The network pushed six shows in the top 30, with THIS IS US ranking best at #9. All three CHICAGO series performed well, with CHICAGO FIRE doing the best, at #17. THE WALL continues to shine ranking 24th on the week, topping LAW & ORDER: SVU (#25) and CHICAGO MED (#26).
ABC only placed three shows in the top 30, with THE BACHELOR doing the best at #18. But the daiting reality show is still one of the top programs in the younger demographic ratings.
FOX only had two shows in the top 50, LETHAL WEAPON at #28 and LUCIFER at #50.
