Final Broadcast Ratings: January 8, 2017

An hour of the NFL Wild Card game was greater than three hours of The Golden Globes, as FOX tops NBC on Sunday night. The game drew over 28.4 million viewers and helped boost THE SIMPSONS and SON OF ZORN above their respective season averages.

THE GOLDEN GLOBES brought in 20 million viewers and posted a 5.6 rating in Adults 18-49, from 8 tho 11 PM. That is up around 1.5 million viewers and tenth of a point in the demo, from last year's event.

CBS topped ABC for the #3 spot, with relatively solid numbers from 7 to 10 PM. ELEMENTARY is still a sore spot for CBS, but at least it topped CONVICTION.
