Final Broadcast Ratings: October 16, 2016

NBC won the Sunday night ratings, despite a season low for Sunday Night Football. The game featured the Colts vs the Texans in a game that did go into overtime. But, the two teams only had five wins between them and neither are a huge ratings draw.

FOX was on the heals of NBC, with a strong NFL overrun into primetime by the Cowboys vs Packers game. The game brought in 20.1 million viewers and a 7.0 rating in Adults 18-49, helping the 600th episode of THE SIMPSONS be the night's top rated scripted program.

CBS edged out ABC for the #3 spot, with good numbers from both 60 MINUTES and NCIS: LA. Both shows drew over 10 million viewers. But the second half of the night, including MADAM SECRETARY and ELEMENTARY, drag down the nightly average. ELEMENTARY was the night lowest rated program, in the three younger demographic categories.

ABC is just a mess on Sunday night, with nothing able to attract viewers.
