Ratings Review: MASTERCHEF (Summer 2015)

MASTERCHEF was the lone bright spot for FOX this past summer season. In most weeks, it would be the lone FOX series in the top 30, in total viewers, and was one of the few shows that pulled in decent demo ratings. Without Gordon Ramsey, FOX would be no better than the CW.

In the Live+SD ratings, MASTERCHEF averaged 5.00 million viewers, a 1.0 rating in Adults 18-34, a 1.5 rating in Adults 18-49, and a 1.9 rating in Adults 25-54. That is down about 400k in total viewers and 20% in the A18-49 demo, from last year's average.

In the Live+3 ratings, viewership rose about 1.1 million viewers and the A18-49 demo added a half a point to the average. In the Live+7 ratings, total viewership averaged 6.4 million viewers (+28%) and a 2.2 rating (+47%) in Adults 18-49.
