Ratings Review: MASTERCHEF (Summer 2014)

If it was not for Gordon Ramsey, the FOX 2014 summer would be a complete shambles. MASTERCHEF is the only true hit of the summer for FOX. It was mostly the only series to consistently be near the top of the weekly ratings, and grew as the summer progressed.

It is always a nice sign when your season finale gains 1.5 million viewers and 43% in the A18-49 ratings. It was the top series of the summer for FOX, in a season with little to truly brag about. Thumbs up for Mastchef and many more seasons.

For the summer, MASTERCHEF averaged 5.41 million viewers and a 1.9 rating in Adults 18-49. The spin-off series Junior Masterchef will run this fall, and expect another summer run of MASTERCHEF in 2015.
