Ratings Review: TYRANT (Season Two)

Season two of the political thriller, TYRANT, took a bit of a dip. Viewership dropped roughly 20% and the A18-49 demographic ratings saw a similar 20% loss, in the Live+SD ratings. In an ever increasing time-shifted TV world, is TYRANT a must-see program, or just another quality series that fills the time to the next show?

In the Live+SD ratings, TYRANT averaged just 1.18 million viewers, a 0.4 rating in both the A18-49 and A25-54 demographics and 0.3 rating in the A18-49 demo.

In the Live+3 ratings, Average viewership rose over one million viewers and the A18-49 ratings grew by three tenths of a point. The Live+7 ratings brought the total averages to 2.5 million viewers (+112%) and a a 0.8 rating (+100%) in Adults 18-49. If/when TYRANT does get a third season renewal, it will be based on these DVR ratings, and not the Live+SD numbers.
