Ratings Review: CHICAGO FIRE (Season Three)
The CHICAGO franchise has proven to be a strong assett for NBC, as it is pretty much the only new shows that have drawn an audience for NBC, outside of THE BLACKLIST. CHICAGO FIRE usually wins its 10 p.m. time slot, but still battles PERSON OF INTEREST for that title. The only concern for the series is the drop of the L+SD demo ratings falling below a 2.0 rating, for most of this past season.In those Live+SD ratings, CHICAGO FIRE averaged 6.89 million viewers and a 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49, for the 27 airings, including four encores. Without the encores, the numbers are 7.42 million viewers and a 1.8 demo rating.
The Live+3 ratings saw increases of about 2.9 million viewers and a 0.9 increase in the A18-49 demographic.
CHICAGO FIRE'S Live+7 first-runs increased by an average +61% in 18-49 rating (to a 2.9) and 47% in total viewers (to 10.90 million).
