Ratings Review: BATES MOTEL (Season Three)

BATES MOTEL is not a break away cable hit, but it is a solid performer in the ratings. It recently earned a two season renewal from A&E, beginning in 2016. But how did it perform in its most recent season?

Only the premiere episode managed to draw over two million viewers, in the Live+SD ratings, and it was the only time it flirted with a 1.0 demo rating. The viewership settled into around one and a half million viewers and a sub one in the demo.

The season's L+SD ratings averaged 1.80 million viewers and a 0.7 rating in Adults 18-49. In the live+7 ratings, viewership grew by 1.6 million viewers and the demo doubled, from the L+SD numbers.
