Ratings Review: TALKING DEAD (Season Four - Spring 2015)
I say this each ratings review, but this is the best companion programming I have seen a network execute. A built in audience, leading out of a mega-hit TV series. TALKING DEAD keeps about 45% of the viewers from each episode of THE WALKING DEAD. Each week, it is a top five program on the cable charts and does better than just about everything else on Network TV, on Sunday nights.
For the season, TALKING DEAD averaged 6.45 million viewers and a solid 2.8 rating in Adults 18-45, in the Live+SD ratings. That includes the 11:15 p.m. start for the season premiere. Live+3 ratings don't do too shabby, adding another million viewers and about 15-20 percent in the demo. Lets hope AMC adds a show after the new FEAR THE WALKING DEAD series, this summer.
