Final Broadcast Ratings: April 12, 2015
With a little bit of The Master Golf bleeding into primetime, CBS swept the Sunday night ratings, averaging over 9.8 million viewers and a 1.3 rating in Adults 18-49. The ratings did slide downwards as the night progressed, with 10:00 p.m. drawing just 39% of the young demo rating as the 7 p.m. hour.
ABC was back to its regular Sunday night lineup, but the ratings they generate were not. AFV was the most watched ABC program, with 5.5 million viewers, topping ONCE UPON A TIME. But the fairy tale series did pull the best demo of the network, with a 1.6 rating. ABC was down about 10% from the last time all four shows aired together, back on March 29th.
NBC was the #3 network, but it did produce the night's best demo number, outside of Golf coverage. AD: THE BIBLE CONTINUES was the top scripted program of the night, with a 1.7 rating. But, nothing else on the NBC schedule can do half as good. Only the encore of the first episode of AD comes the closest.
FOX has a mess of a schedule, with the first 90 minutes consisting of encores, while a rare new episode of FAMILY GUY airs out of a repeat of THE SIMPSONS. But, THE LAST MAN ON EARTH was the #2 program, at 9 p.m., in the A18-49 demographic.
