Ratings Review: LOVE THY NEIGHBOR (Season Three)

The sitcom, LOVE THY NEIGHBOR, is one of the few Tyler Perry productions, on OWN, that is not a ratings success. This has been the case for its entire run. It struggles to attract one million viewers and a demo over a 0.3 rating.

I think the reporting of this series numbers has been a mixed base of info. You do not see a show grab 2.5 million viewers one week, and 910,000, seven days later. There must be some cumulative numbers assumed to be just the premiere airing of an episode, with other sticking with that onetime airing.

Season three also featured a reduced number of episodes in the season. Just 11 episodes for 2015, while seasons one & two featured 26 each. But, the series will be back for a fourth season and should get the series to about 70-75 episodes, in total. That could be enough for it to enter into syndication, if a fifth season never comes.

For the season, LOVE THY NEIGHBOR averaged 1.12 million viewers and a 0.3 rating in Adults 18-49. No details on when season four will premiere.
