Ratings Review: ARCHER (Season Six - Winter 2015)

Like most animated series aimed for adults, ARHCER's ratings skew more towards viewers in the A18-49 ratings, than it does for people outside of that demographic. The lowest rated episode, the season finale, drew 720,00 total viewers, but 567,000 of those viewers were in the young demographic. That is how some cable programs survive with low viewership.

Just five of the season's 13 episodes managed to draw over one million total viewers. But, every episode of the season pulled in over 500,000 viewers in the A18-49 demographic. That A18-49 ratings is about average for a first run series, on cable. Even series that can draw over two million total viewers. Good for selling commercials, but does it help when negotiating with cable companies for subscriber fees?

For the season, ARCHER averaged 990,000 viewers and a 0.5 rating in Adults 18-49. The series has already been renewed for a seventh season, for 2016.
