Ratings Review: UNDERCOVER BOSS (Season Six)

UNDERCOVER BOSS is still a viable property in the CBS line up. It helped improve the networks ratings, on Friday nights, while THE AMAZING RACE was in between seasons, in both the time slot and the night as a whole.

With UB improving the 8 p.m. slot, HAWAII FIVE-O and BLUE BLOODS saw some of their better ratings of the season. Viewership rose by about two million viewers and the A18-49 ratings jumped about two tenths of a ratings point, on average. CBS should consider giving the series an 18 episode order, to run for half the season, while THE AMAZING race is scaled back to just one edition per year.

For the season, the UNDERCOVER BOSS Live+SD average was 8.30 million viewers and a 1.4 rating in Adults 18-49. As long as UNDERCOVER BOSS maintains a ratings level with the other programs on the night it airs, CBS should continue to renew the series for additional seasons.
