Ratings Review: MASTERCHEF JUNIOR (Winter 2015)
If it wasn't for Gordon Ramsey, FOX would be compared to The CW these days. His shows have helped the network plug so many holes, the last couple of seasons, because of the horrible series development by FOX. Even if these cooking shows ratings are not spectacular, they are at least, decent. And it is all thanks to Ramsey.
The second season of MASTERCHEF JUNIOR performed admirably, pulling in five million viewers a week and a high one, in the A18-49 demographic ratings That put it in 3rd place, sometime battling for 2nd place, in the 8 p.m. time slot.
For the season, MASTERCHEF JUNIOR averaged 5.09 million viewers and a 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49. I am sure we expect more MJ for 2015 and 2016, but will it be as emergency programming again, or will it be banished to Friday night, as it was originally scheduled to air.
