Ratings Review: THE EXES (Season Four - Winter 2015)
In general, original comedies, on cable, are taking a hit in the ratings. TV LAND is feeling a large portion of that hit as all of its original programming is sitcoms. THE EXES does relatively decent numbers, but they are not good numbers.
Not a single episodes reached 800,000 viewers, and the A18-49 is nonexistent. Yes, there are other comedies, on other cable networks, that do worse. but that is part of my point. Comedies are not doing well at all this year. If the series gets renewed for a fifth season, it will be out of a lack of other programming available and not the strength of its own numbers.
For the season, THE EXES averaged 600,000 viewers for the season. The second half of the season will be back later in 2015. hopefully, it will have better success when the weather is warmer.
