Ratings Review: BAD JUDGE (Season One)

NBC renewing BAD JUDGES was a bad Sign from the beginning. The sitcom never did better than a distant third place, and most of the run, placed 4th in its time slot. Now, on to the numbers.

To be fair, the first two week of BAD JUDGE did look promising. Not good, but promising. It drew over five million viewers and a 1.3 demo rating for both of those episodes. But it was not long that viewership dropped 40%$ and the demo lost 30%. By the final episode, on half of the premiere audience stayed with the series.

The DVR ratings really were not much better. It averaged just over five million viewers and a 1.3 demo rating, after three days and the  Live+7 average was 5.10 million viewers and a 1.4 rating in Adults 18-49.

For the season, the Live+SD averages were 3.77 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in Adults 18-49. NBC still has a lot of wholes to fill and so far, the 2014-15 freshman class has done little to hel the situation.
