Ratings Review: HOMELAND (Season Four)

HOMELAND is Showtime's flagship series. It grabs the most viewers and receives them most critical acclaim. Yet,, based on the ratings, very few people actually tune in to watch the series.

HOMELAND does about, if not slightly lower, than your average original cable series. Which may not be too bad, for a premium cable channel. But, when you compare the top Showtime series to a most of the HBO shows, There is no contest. Subscribers prefer HBO over Showtime.

For the season, HOMELAND averaged 1.65 million viewers and a 0.5 rating in Adults 18-49. It picks up about 50% more viewers, by the third day, based on the one piece of data for the Live+3 ratings.
