Ratings Review: BONES (Season Ten - Fall 2014)

The 2014-15 season is on of, if not the only, season where BONES takes a long break off the air, in the middle of the season. The series is not scheduled to come back until March, unless another bomb hits FOX and the network needs more patchwork.

Although the ratings are down and not looking great, it is still one of the stronger series FOX has, at the moment. It is in a tough time slot, going up against GREY'S ANATOMY and THE BIG BANG THEORY, plus NFL Football for the first half of the fall. Yet, it still produces decent numbers.

For the fall, BONES averaged 5.75 million viewers and a 1.4 rating in Adults 18-49, for the 11 airings, including one repeat episode. If FOX can get some momentum going this spring, We could be in the middle of the final season of the series. But, again, this is FOX. So, why not an 11th season?
