Ratings Review: SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (2014)

SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL will once again be the #1 show of the season. The power of the NFL is growing stronger and stronger each year, as viewers DVR shows, but watch sports live.

NBC did see its share of blowout games, but not as extreme as say MNF or TNF saw.  Seven games did not reach 20 million viewers, the same as 2013. The top game was the kick-off game, on Thursday night. Both Manning/Broncos games were the third and fourth most watched. The least watched game was the Giants/Eagles game, which Philadelphia won 27-0.

For the 2014 season, SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL averaged 20.97 million viewers and a 7.5 rating in Adults 18-49. that is down, slightly, from last year's average.
