Ratings Review: SURVIVOR (Fall 2014)

The 29th edition of SURVIVOR maintains as one of the more solid entries in the genre, continuing to draw viewers, year in and year out. In ten years, the only shows still on the air will be 60 MINUTES, THE SIMPSONS and SURVIVOR.

The fall season stayed amazingly consistent. All but three episodes stayed between 9.2 million and 9.9 million viewers. The A18-49 demographic held solid at around a mid-two rating.

We had very few data points in either the Live+3 or the Live+7 ratings, but it does look a decent amount of people do watch the show after the day it airs. Near two million more people, and 33% in the demo, were added to the ratings, after seven days, towards the end of the season.

For the season, SURVIVOR averaged 9.38 million viewers and a 2.3 rating in Adults 18-49. The 30th edition, World Apart, will premiere on February 25th, with a 90 minute edition.
