Primetime Cable Ratings: December 18, 2014

The series finale of WHITE COLOR fizzled in the ratings. After 81 episodes, over five years, just 1.9 million viewers tuned in to see how the story ended. WHITE COLOR was once a solid performing in the ratings, grabbing 4-5 million viewers an episode.

The finale of COVERT AFFAIRS failed to make the top 15, placing 22nd on the night.

The NFL Network scored its lowest ratings of the season, for an exclusive Thursday night game. The Jaguars vs Titans game collected just 4.9 million viewers and a 1.6 rating in Adults 18-49. The match up was a terrible one, pitting two teams with a combined record of 4-24, going into the game. I know every team in the NFL must have at least one primetime game, but putting two horrible teams in the same game, should be avoided.

History and the PAWN STARS franchise did terrific on the night, with four episodes of PAWN STARS and two episodes of PAWNOGRAPHY making the top 15. The pack was led by the 9:30 episode of PAWN STARS, drawing 3.1 million viewers and a 0.8 demo. For the night, History averaged 2.3 million viewers and a 0.6 demo.
