HAVEN adds big guest star:
STAR TREK's William Shatner will have a recurring role on SyFy's HAVEN. The role will be over four episodes in 2015.



Free Amazon video service?:
Rumors are circulating that Amazon is looking at a separate video service that is ad supported and free to consumers. This rumor has been around before, but it does look to be the real thing, this time around. If the new service does get off the ground, it would nt launch until after the start of 2015.



FX and FXX set premier dates:
The two networks have announced their winter premiere dates:
On FX, the sixth season of ARCHER begins on January 8, at 10 p.m. The final season of JUSTIFIED will hit on January 20th, at 10 p.m. Season three of THE AMERICANS premieres on January 28th, at 10 p.m. For FXX, ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA kicks off its 10th season on January 14th, at 10 p.m. And. lastly, the new comedy MAN SEEKING WOMAN bows in at 10:30, right after ALWAYS SUNNY.



OWN announces premiere dates for four series:
The Oprah network announced the premiere dates for three returning series and one new series.
RAISING WHITLEY season two premiere on January 3, at 9 p.m.
SAG HARBOR series premiere on January 3, at 10 p.m.
THE HAVES AND HAVE NOTS winter premiere on January 6, at 9 p.m.
LOVE THY NEIGHBOR winter premiere on January 7, at 9 p.m.



More FOX mid-season premiere dates:
Yes, even more premiere dates have been announced, by FOX. Here they are, in order of premiere.
Season three of MASTERCHEF JUNIOR begins on January 6, starting on Tuesday nights.
GLEE returns Friday January 9th for its final 13 episodes.
WORLD'S FUNNIEST FAILS falls in on Friday, January 16, at 8 p.m.
BACKSTORM, Rainn Wilson's Dramedy Crime series, occupies the Thursday, 9 p.m. slot, starting January 22nd (versus THE BLACKLIST and SCANDAL).
Comedy LAST MAN ON EARTH begins life on Sunday, March 1st.
Third year drama THE FOLLOWING creeps in on March 2nd.
More Gordon Ramsey begins March third, when another season of HELL'S KITCHEN begins.
BONES returns with new episodes on March 26th, at 8 p.m.
WEIRD LOANERS will take over the Tuesday 9:30 time slot, starting March 31st.



AMC sets BREAKING BAD prequel premiere date:
BETTER CALL SAUL will have its series premiere on Sunday, February 8th, at 10 p.m. Episode two will air the following night, February 9th. Its regular time slot will be Mondays at 10 p.m.



TBS cancels sitcom:
After three season, the comedy SULLIVAN AND SON has been axed by TBS.



Sophomore talk show cancelled:
The daytime talker THE QUEEN LATIFAH SHOW has been cancelled by Sony Television Pictures. New episodes will run through March of 2015, before being taken off the air.



Netflix takes of Tina Fey comedy:
Originally schedule as a mid-season series for NBC, this season, The sitcom THE UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT will now premiere, exclusively, on Netflix. And, Netflix has upped the order to be two seasons. The series will make its premiere some time after the new year.
