Ratings Review: UTOPIA (Season One)

UTOPIA was supposed to be the show that replaces THE X-FACTOR on the FOX fall schedule, and become a hit. But, lasting less than two months, UTOPIA may go down as THE worst new show of the 2014 season.

The series was supposed to air twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, but after four weeks on Tuesdays, FOX scaled back the run of UTOPIA to just Friday nights in hope it would strengthen the series. it was wrong. FOX couldn't let this turkey get near the November sweeps and it was cancelled just after Halloween.

For the season, UTOPIA averaged 2.14 million viewers and a 0.8 rating in Adults 18-49. This series should never had seen episodes air during October. In fact, it should have been axed after its first full week.
