Primetime Cable Ratings: October 31, 2014

The NBA on ESPN ruled Halloween night as the doubleheader takes two of the top three spots on the chart, including the #1 spot. The early game, featured the return of Lebron James against the Chicago Bulls, drew 3.9 million viewers and a 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49. That demographic rating was second only to SHARK TANK, on ABC, for all of television.

Game two, was the battle of LA, with the Lakers and Clippers going at it. Starting just a few minutes before 11 p.m., the game averaged 2.9 million viewers, beyond the midnight hour, on the east coast.

Discovery's Alaskan Friday, two episodes of GOLD RUSH followed by EDGE OF ALASKA, averaged 2.4 million viewers, over the three hours of primetime. That tops SYFy's SMACKDOWN two hour average of 2.2 million viewers.
