Final Broadcast Ratings: October 31, 2014
ABC and CBS split a down Halloween night, in the ratings. CBS pulled in the most viewers, thanks to BLUE BLOODS and HAWAII FIVE. ABC wins the, on the strength of SHARK TANK, which pulled in the nights best A18-49 ratings, a 2.0.
The ABC comedies each posted a season low in the demo ratings, but was still enough to tie for second place, in the hour, with THE AMAZING RACE. most of the audience of the shows were, more than likely, out trick or treating, instead of watching TV.
BLUE BLOODS posted one of its best total in viewership, grabbing 11.4 million viewers. That makes it the most watched 10 p.m. program, on any network.
NBC was flat, outside of DATELINE, at 8 p.m. Both dramas posted unusually low numbers, letting CBS tie it in the 9 p.m hour and come in third at 10 p.m. The days may be numbered for CONSTANTINE.
FOX had to battle the CW for 4th place, edging them by one tenth of a ratings point int the demo and 400K in total viewers. the just announced cancellation of UTOPIA was well earned by the terrible reality series. Just 1.5 million viewers bothered to watch the program on the night.
