Ratings Review: HELL'S KITCHEN (Season 12)

Could you imagine what FOX would look like if they did not have Gordon Ramsey around to help bail them out the last couple of years? HELL'S KITCHEN and his other series have been the only consistent and strong programs on the network, and have been marched in for early duty as each new series fails and puts FOX in a hole.

It was another strong showing for the veteran cooking series, even with most of it's run in the TV regular season. Most episodes drew a high one rating, in Adults 18-49, better than shows like 24, BONES and even ALMOST HUMAN. The network should stop trying to hold it back for the summer. It does not work any longer and fans can enjoy Ramsey's antics year round.

For the season, HELL'S KITCHEN averaged 4.83 million viewers and a 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49, for the 20 episodes this season. KITCHEN NIGHTMARES will have a short off-season as the 13th season will premiere September 10th. Perhaps one of the better moves by FOX, in recent seasons.
