Ratings Review: HART OF DIXIE (Season Three)

HART OF DIXIE is now one of the weaker, if not the weakest, show on the CW. On two separate nights, it barely draws a million viewers, or less, and yet, is renewed for a fourth season. It is moves like this that holds the CW back.

Monday nights were a lot kinder to HART OF DIXIE than Friday nights. Every Monday night episode did draw at least one million viewers. On Fridays, just once did the series cross over the 7 figure mark. The Demographic ratings are not much to boast about either.

The LIVE+7 numbers do have a"high" percentage growth, but the real numbers are just a few hundred thousand more, in total viewership. The demo ratings do nearly double, but as I have said many times before, the doubling of a small number, is still a small number.

For the season, HART OF DIXIE averaged 960,000 viewers and a 0.3 rating in Adults 18-49, for the 23 airings, including one repeat episode. DIXIE is back in 2014-15, but as a mid-season replacement.
