Ratings Review: THE 100 (Season One)

THE 100 proved it is a series worth keeping. not just by the ratings it generated following behind the CW's most watch series, ARROW, but by the ratings it kept producing once ARROW was in repeats.

For the CW, the ratings were strong for THE 100. The premiere GREW out of an episode of ARROW, in both viewers and A18-49 ratings. It also grew the ratings anytime ARROW aired a repeat episode. Retention of of original episodes of ARROW usually were in the 80 to 90 percent range.

The LIVE+7 ratings usually increased the demo ratings by about a half a ratings point, not quite doubling the LIVE+SD ratings. The one total viewers data point show about one million more viewers watched the series, within a week after the initial airing.

For the 13 episode season, THE 100 averaged 1.85 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in Adults 18-49. THE 100 will stay in the same time slot next season, with ARROW continuing as it's lead in. The ratings should continue to be good for the foreseeable future.
