Ratings Review: BLACK SAILS (Season One)

Stars premium cable channel gave us the new drama BLACK SAILS. It is a pirate series that follows Captain Flint and crew in the early 1700's, in the West Indies.

I do not have Starz, or cable for that matter, so I am not sure how well this was received or how the production quality is. But, based on other Starz originals we have tracked, it is no worse than average, perhaps better.

For the 8 episode season, BLACK SAILS averaged 611,000 viewers and a 0.2 rating in Adults 18-49. I could not confirm the information, but it does look like a second season of the series is planned for 2015.
