Jesus Coming to FOX:
FOX is developing a an event series on the earlier years of Jesus. The project, titled NAZARETH, will follow Jesus' lesser know, formative years. Last spring, History ran the mini series THE BIBLE which drew huge ratings, and even beat THE WALKING DEAD a couple of nights.

Seth Myeres Gets Emmy Gig:
New LATE NIGHT hosts Seth Meyers will host the 66th Emmy Awards. The even will be televised by NBC on Monday, August 25, 2014. Don Michner Production is producing the event.



Jason Voorhees Returns to TV:
A weekly drama series based on the FRIDAY THE 13TH franchise is being developed. The drama would focus on the different residence of Crystal Lake and, perhaps, the Jason Voorhees family. The scope of the drama will not be limited to one set time period, but may span different time periods. No announcement on a network being attached or a possible premiere date. The new reboot to the movie franchise, from Michael Bay, is schedule to hit theater in Mid-March, 2015.



Netflix Hitting Cable Boxes Next Week:
If you are a cable subscriber of Atlantic Broadband, Grande Communications or RCN, and have a TiVo DVR, you will be getting the Netflix app as soon as Monday. This will allow subscribers to easily move from their cable TV shows to a Netflix movie without the need of changing their TV, using another remote or getting off the couch.



PlayOn Completes Chromecast Connection:
The app will bridge content from the broadcast networks to stream on your TV via the Chromecast device.  [LINK]
