Ratings Review: SUPER FUN NIGHT (Season One)

SUPER FUN NIGHT had what could be the best time slot for a new show, on the ABC schedule, having MODERN FAMILY as a lead in. But, having such a great lead in proved to not be enough as the sitcom was done after 17 episodes.

The retention rate for SUPER FUN NIGHT out of MODERN FAMILY is what ultimately killed the series. It would lose close 50%, if not more, on most nights. ABC needs a series to do much better out of their flagship series.

For the 17 episodes, plus three encores, SUPER FUN NIGHT averaged 4.77 million viewers and a 1.6 rating in Adults 18-49. If you were a fan of the show, don't worry, it will live on via Amazon Prime and Netflix.
