Ratings Review: SEAN SAVES THE WORLD (Season One)

When the previews of SEAN SAVES THE WORLD hit the internet, last May, I thought the comedy had a good chance at finding an audience, with modest ratings. It had a "typical sitcom" feel to it, but the cast seemed solid. But, out of the gate, ratings would be a challenge for the series.

Only twice did SEAN draw over four million viewers. The premiere episode, with 4.4 million, and the November 7th episode, which had an encore of THE VOICE as it's lead in. It did not help that the lead in programs (PARKS & REC / COMMUNITY) also draw very few viewers. It wasn't a must see program.

For the 13 episodes that aired, SEAN SAVES THE WORLD averaged 3.34 million viewers and a 1.0 rating in Adults 18-49. There are two episodes that have been produced, but not broadcast. If NBC decides to burn off the remaining two episodes, we will add them to this Ratings Review.
