Ratings Review: SLEEPY HOLLOW (Season One)

SLEEPY HOLLOW got off to a great start of the season. it appeared to be a good match with lead in series BONES. During that first half of the season, SLEEPY HOLLOW averaged around 7.4 million viewers and a mid-two in the A18-49 ratings. But once BONES left the night, so did the ratings.

ALMOST HUMAN was not as good of a series as BONES and the ratings showed that. it also hurt the numbers for SLEEPY HOLLOW. New episodes dropped to a low two in the demo ratings and viewership slipped below 7 million. But it was still competing for 2nd place, during the 9 p.m. time slot.

For the season, SLEEPY HOLLOW averaged 6.1 million viewers and a 2.1 rating in Adults 18-49 for the 17 airings, including five repeat episodes. The series will return for a second season, currently set for another 13 episodes. SLEEPY HOLLOW is also the first series to take on the new philosophy at FOX and production will start in March of 2013. This will leave room for scheduling flexibility and the addition of more episodes in the 2014-15 season, if needed.
