Ratings: Broadcast Finals for January 21, 2014

It was a good night for the FOX comedies as they led the network to a second place finish in the A18-49 ratings. All four sitcoms gained from last week's ratings, with NEW GIRL and BROOKLYN NINE-NINE tying with THE BIGGEST LOSER and NCIS [R] as the top programs in the demo ratings. This is BROOKLYN NINE-NINE's best ratings since the series premiere, in Mid-September. Both series primed and ready for their post-Super bowl episodes, airing on February 2, 2014.

NBC was the top network on the night, in the A18-49 ratings. CHICAGO FIRE was the top show at 10 p.m., with a 1.8 rating. The drama was also the most watched program of the night, after the three CBS dramas.

With AGENTS OF SHIELD in repeats, the remaining ABC line up didn't do much in the ratings. THE GOLDBERGS tied for 3r in the demo and placed 4th in viewership. TROPHY WIFE finished fourth in both categories. Things were so bad that The CW beat ABC in the A18-49 ratings by 22%.

CBS - 10.7 million viewers, 1.5 rating in Adults 18-49

CW - 2.6 million viewers, 1.1 rating in Adults 18-49

FOX - 3.8 million viewers, 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49

NBC - 6.9 million viewers, 1.9 rating in Adults 18-49
