Ratings Review: DANCING WITH THE STARS (Fall 2013)

DANCING WITH THE STARS started out with promising ratings when the season premiere drew 16 million viewers and a 3.1 rating in Adults 18-49, but reality quickly set in for the coming weeks. 13 million viewers and a 2 demo rating is about all the veteran dance competition series can maintain these days.

The only good thing I can say about the series is that it holds on to its fans that stayed with it early on.  Something  X FACTOR and THE VOICE can not boast about.

The winner of this season's competition is GLEE's Amber Riley with dance partner Corbin Bleu.

For the fall edition, DANCING WITH THE STARS averaged 13.73 million viewers and a 2.2 rating in Adults 18-49. The lone reported Live+3 ratings showed there was little DVRing of the series and that most of the audience watched live, or at least, "nearly live."
