Ratings Review: SURVIVOR CARAMOAN

After 26 seasons, SURVIVOR is still a solid ratings performer, but it is not always easy.

What started out looking like a down season, the series slowly built its ratings as the season progressed. Little dips and valleys would happen, but through the first 11 episodes, viewership stayed within a few percentage points. The April 24th episode was the seasons highest rated, in both viewers and demo ratings.

The season ended on a high note, drawing 10.2 million viewers for the two hour Sunday finale. The reunion show could have done better, but it may be time to change up what the post game show looks like. After a while, they begin to look the same.

For the season, SURVIVOR averaged 9.47 million viewers and a 2.6 rating in Adults 18-49, during the 15 episodes and reunion show. The series will be back for two more editions in the 2013-14 season, including the BLOOD VS WATER in the fall.
