Ratings Review: THE GOOD WIFE (Season Four)

THE GOOD WIFE did "OK," this past season, by CBS standards. I guess that is good enough when you are a favorite of the those that make the scheduling decisions and you would enter the magical 5th season, with a renewal.

THE GOOD WIFE was one of the lowest rated, veteran series on CBS, that did not air on Friday or Saturday nights. Yes, it did have to deal with the fluctuating start times because of the NFL Overrun, every other week. But not as bad as THE MENTALIST had to endure, but it performed better over the season.

This series is on the schedule because of reasons beyond the ratings. I guess that can be a good thing, as long as it does not hurt any other series, or the the network. For right now, CBS looks to be in good shape.
